Squirt is a handsome "teenage" tabby boy with a friendly, curious, easy-going personality. He's well-behaved and great with people of all ages, including small children! Squirt loves to curl up on a warm lap for a snuggle session. He also loves the other cats in his foster home, and would thrive with another kitty buddy in his new family. <br/> Due to an injury in his tail region as a kitten, Squirt has a condition that requires a little extra help in the litterbox, but it is easily managed. He has a hard time getting all his urine out on his own, and needs a gentle tummy squeeze to help him get any residual drops out. Contra Costa Humane Society's Adoption Policy

CCHS has animals available for adoption through a number of different avenues. Many of our kittens and all dogs are cared for in loving foster homes until they are adopted. Teenage, adult, senior and special-needs cats reside at Kitty Corner, an on-site, private cat shelter where cats are allowed to free-roam at all times, lounge in sunny windows and on comfy cat towers, and play to their heart's galore. Similarly, we also have animals available for adoption through our Re-Homing Assistance Program, where we help to advertise animals that caregivers are no longer able to keep. If you are interested in meeting any of the animals listed on our website, please complete an adoption application unless otherwise noted! Our business office and Kitty Corner are located at 171 Mayhew Way, Suite 101 in Pleasant Hill, CA 94523. Kitty Corner houses adult, senior, and special-needs cats (sometimes teenage kittens).
