Squire's Story
Meet Squire: Your Loyal Castle Staff-in-Training

Hear ye, hear ye! Presenting Squire, a young nobleman-in-the-making whose greatest dream is to serve as the resident Royal Couch Guardian and Keeper of the Snack Treasury in his forever castle.

This dashing lad boasts a majestic, plume-like tail—the kind of tail that swishes with quiet authority. He’s mostly a chill, easygoing gentleman, but hand him a toy to leap after and he’ll show you his athletic prowess (he calls it “combat training”).

Squire is fluent in High-Pitched Courtly Meow, a tiny squeak that announces his presence and his opinions—because trust him, he has many. He also comes equipped with a soft but impressively loud purr engine, perfect for soothing his humans after a long day of quests.

As part of his castle duties, Squire loves to follow his humans from chamber to chamber, supervising all tasks with great dedication. Need help folding laundry? He’ll observe. Preparing dinner? He’ll oversee. Watching a movie on the couch? Ah, at last—his specialty.

His Royal Preferences:
• Ideal castle companion: a friendly cat aged 1–3 years who seeks a loyal sidekick. (He prefers older feline nobles—kittens are a bit too rambunctious for this distinguished lad.)
• Older kids? Acceptable to the Squire.
• Calm, respectful dog? Possibly allowed after a slow diplomatic introduction.
• Treats? Absolutely. Bribery works wonders with this staff member.

If your home needs a devoted attendant who will bring charm, squeaky conversation, and a tail worthy of legend, Squire is ready to pledge his loyalty.

Long live Squire! May his reign of coziness begin.

*Please note that most of our kitties will only be adopted out in pairs or to a home with an existing cat or furry companion--dependent upon what is best for them.

If you are interested in adopting Squire, you can find our Adoption Application and more information about our adoption process at http://www.kittycrusaide.org/adopt.
