Squeaky's Story

If you’re looking for the sweetest little snugglebug, meet Miss Squeaky! Miss Squeaky came by her name because of her little squeaky meow. She’s a tiny little thing so her meow fits her. She loves to snuggle with you on the sofa and sleep next to you at night. She also loves to sit in the window and watch the world go by.

Born February 17, 2024

Squeaky gets along with my old, grumpy cat – although it did take her 2 weeks to win him over. She’s fine with my old dog who’s blind and has dementia. She’s still not 100% sure of my other dog who loves cats. I think it’s because he barks sometimes and scares her. Probably left over from her time outside as a stray. She’s getting used to him now and will creep over and sniff him while he’s sleeping.

So basically, Squeaky is cat and dog friendly, but will require slow introductions so she will know she is safe. Still playful, we think she would do great with a younger cat who would play with her. She tries to get my cat to play, but he’s not that interested.

For such a little ragamuffin to have come in out of the cold, Miss Squeaky just wants someone to love on her. She was found in East Fort Worth where she wandered up to a house where a kind family befriended and fed her. Unfortunately, they couldn’t keep her and reached out for help. That’s when Meowtown stepped up and now she’s hanging out with me and my crew until we find her the perfect home.

If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a visit with my foster home!
