Squeak's Story
The cutest little noises and conversations come from our little Squeak! Petite 12-year-old, Squeak, is a darling tiger and white female cat who really does carry on the best conversations with her squeaks, meows, and trills! She was surrendered to local Animal Control with an untreated bite wound at the base of her tail, caused by a newer cat in the home who bullied little Squeak. Her tail was determined to be dead and partially amputated which is why our rescue took her in, and now her tail is fully healed. Luckily, she hasn't let the trauma diminish her adorable and extremely social personality! She is playful and energetic, and can have nervous energy at times but this would make sense given her previous experiences. Watching Squeak, you can tell she has moments of being on high alert. She is easy to get to know and we have been able to quickly learn her cues and body language so we don't overwhelm her with affection. Squeak obviously lived with cats in the past and has shown interest in meeting some new friends at our facility too! She may do well with another cat but we want to keep her past history in mind when creating a good personality match. A calm home without little kiddos will truly please this cutie!
