Sprouts's Story
Do you have room in your heart for a sweet girl who is coming out of her shell? Precious and shy Sprouts is ready for adoption! She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. Sprouts (and her brother Legume) were relinquished to Soul Dog but had very little socialization with humans. She has been living with her brother and already learned to love and trust her foster humans. She will crawl onto the sofa or hop into bed for cuddles, ear rubs, or just to lay with you when it's time to lay down for a movie or read a book. Sprouts will happily play with her stick toy on the climbing tree. She is not fond of being picked up yet. She will let foster Mom pick her up, but usually jumps down pretty quickly when my older teens try. She is okay if they pick her up and set her on their laps when sitting down. Sprouts is doing a great job learning to trust humans and accept the attention and love she desperately wants to give and receive! Additionally, she is very neat and tidy in regards to the litter box and has never peed outside of it. (Except for the first ride home from the shelter, but has taken trips successfully since then.) She is clean with her food and water as well. Ideally, Sprouts would be adopted with her brother Legume- he is more outgoing and helps her to navigate new sounds and situations very well. Adopted with her brother or alone, Sprouts will do best in a quiet older teen/adult household. She would also make an excellent apartment or condo kitty as she feels safest in smaller sections (single or double rooms) of the house.
