As construction continued, their world kept shrinking — sheds removed, a new plaza built, and even their last sleeping space inside a food compactor taken away. Mostly seen only after dark once traffic quieted, Spring relied on the dedication of a volunteer who fed the colony nightly. When it became clear they had nowhere left to go, we welcomed them safely into foster care.<br/><br/>Life in Foster Care:<br/>Spring has settled beautifully into indoor life. She lives peacefully with other cats and dogs and enjoys a calm, predictable routine.
