SPOTS's Story

SPOTS is a 4-5 month old BROWN TABBY and WHITE DOMESTIC SHORTHAIR kitten. He has an adorable pink nose, and tabby spots on his back (hence where his name came from). He is neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative, has his claws and is microchipped.

Spots and his sister Gidget (also available for adoption) were found as tiny kittens in a window-well of an abandoned home. When their mom never returned for them they were rescued by a follower of SPCR and they contacted us to see if we would take them. They both have thrived in foster care, but now are ready to find their forever families!

Spots is very friendly and social, he doesn’t want to miss out on anything going on around the house. Being a kitten he also loves to play! Spots enjoys wand toys, the laser pointer, spring toys, balls etc. Really, he likes playing with anything he can find.

Spots is living with his sister Gidget and friends Tessa and Henry. They all get along great, and he would love to be adopted with one of them. He could also go to a home that already has another young cat for him to play with. Spots has been around older cats, and does fine with them as well. He has not been around dogs, but a cat-friendly dog should also be ok. He would enjoy kids who would give him attention and play with him.

Spots eats both wet and dry food. He loves treats (Greenies and Churu are his favorites). He uses the litterbox and scratching posts perfectly.

ADOPTION FEE $75. FOSTERED IN DANE, WI

Specialty Purebred Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy
We rarely get kittens of any breed. If we do, they will be listed in the “Available for Adoption” section. We can only hold cats for ONE WEEK. IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO ADOPT A CAT NOW, PLEASE WAIT TO FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Please remember that our cats are located in various foster homes in 6 different midwestern states (Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota). We do adopt to people out of state but WE DO NOT SHIP OR TRANSPORT OUR CATS. You must pick up the cat in person at the foster home. You cannot send a representative. So, you would be looking at a road trip or plane ride. If you cannot do this, please DO NOT APPLY. We do not keep a waiting list for any breeds. Please be sure that you are interested in a specific cat on the “Available for Adoption” page before filling out an application. YOU MUST FILL OUT EVERY SPACE OF THE ADOPTION APPLICATION OR IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED OR PROCESSED. Please note: we will contact your vet to make sure your other animals are fixed and up to date on vaccinations. Please notify your vet and give them permission to release your information to SPCR.
