Spots's Story

Meadow and Spots are the kind of cats people dream about—and very rarely find. These two are true “Velcro” lap cats, the kind who don’t just sit next to you… they choose you, every single time. If you’ve been hoping for that deep, affectionate bond where your cat is happiest curled up in your arms, on your chest, or tucked beside you in bed, these girls will absolutely steal your heart.

Meadow, a stunning tortie, is pure tenderness—she’s a true lap cat who soaks up affection and melts into every pet, every cuddle, every moment of attention. Spots, her tabby companion, is just as affectionate, but takes it one step further—she needs to be connected to you. If you’re sitting, she’s on you; if you’re lying down, she’s curled right on top of you, completely content as long as she’s touching her person. Together, they are the ultimate cuddle duo, each bringing their own special kind of love.

As beautiful as they are on the outside, their true beauty is who they are—gentle, trusting, endlessly loving souls who just want to be near their person. They don’t ask for much… just warmth, kindness, and someone to love.

Their story makes their sweetness even more remarkable. Meadow and Spots were found outside, alone, thin, and crying for food fending for themselves. Despite this difficult start, they never lost their loving nature. In fact, it seems to have made them even more devoted to people.

In their foster home, even when other cats have been less than welcoming, Meadow and Spots simply walk away rather than react. It’s just who they are—kind, gentle, and full of quiet grace.

If you’re looking for a constant companion, a couch snuggler, a bedtime cuddle buddy who will fall asleep beside you every night, Meadow and Spots are ready to fill your home with love. They can be adopted together or separately, as long as they have a home where they’ll get the attention and affection they so deeply deserve.

These girls have already proven how strong and loving they are. Now they’re just waiting for someone to give that love back. Spots was born around 4/26/2024.

For more information or to apply to adopt: https://www.anjelliclecats.com/adopt

Anjellicle Cats Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process is as follows. We have all interested adopters complete an application which can be found on our website www.anjelliclecats.com. Please note some foster caregivers are comfortable introducing you to their cat via FaceTime or similar platform. Others still prefer a hand-to-paw meeting. Once your application is approved, we schedule you to attend a seminar in cat care that lasts about 75 minutes. We invite both experienced and novice alike and are presently offering this as a Zoom session. Then you would sign the adoption papers, pay the adoption fee, and make arrangements for the cat to be moved to your home. We always do a home visit which is both reassuring to the cat when it is being introduced and to the foster who has taken care of the cat. Presently we are doing home visits with FaceTime or Zoom to confirm you have secure windows and a generally safe environment for a cat. Then we coordinate pick up by the adopter or drop off by the foster, depending on what both parties are comfortable doing. The adoption fee is $150 for one cat under 7 years old, and $75 for one cat 7 years and older. This fee includes initial shots, microchipping, deworming, and spay/neuter.
