Spot's Story

Meet Spot – A Dash of Gold and a Whole Lot of Love!
Spot is a one-of-a-kind kitten with a sleek black coat kissed by golden patches and speckles—like little stars scattered across the night sky. At 6 months old, she's bursting with playful energy, curiosity, and just the right amount of sass.
Though a little shy at first, Spot has a sweet and affectionate side that shines through once she feels safe. She adores side scratches, and once you earn her trust, she’ll reward you with the best gift of all: nonstop biscuit-making with her happy little paws. Its her way of saying, “I’m comfy, I like you, and I’m home.”
Spot loves chasing wand toys, batting around stuffed mice, and exploring every corner of the room. She’s full of kitten mischief in the best way and would thrive in a home that gives her space to play and time to warm up.
She gets along well with other cats and could really blossom in a home with a friendly feline companion. Spot hasn’t met children yet, but would likely do well in a calm, patient household where she can continue to build her confidence.
Spot is ready for her forever home—one with cozy spots, caring people, and plenty of time to grow into the loving, lively cat she’s meant to be. Adopt Spot and add a little sparkle to your life—one biscuit at a time.

Habitat 4 Paws's Adoption Policy
Adopters must visit with a potential pet and adoption counselor. We prefer that all family members and pets are present during this process to ensure a good fit. If all goes well, adopters will complete an application. After application approval, a home visit will be scheduled. We do not hold pets nor do we adopt on a first come, first served basis. Our goal is to find the home that best fits that pet’s needs. Adoption fees are $225 for dogs, $275 for puppies under 1 year of age, $185 for cats and kittens. All pets will be spayed/neutered, receive age appropriate vaccinations and microchip, will be tested for common diseases, and kept current on heartworm and flea preventative. Habitat 4 Paws will host regular offsite adoptions, food drives, microchip clinics and fundraising events. Stay up to date through our website and Facebook page!
