Spoiled Monster's Story

Spoiled Monster is an affectionate, playful boy who was taken in and treated very well by his foster family. Spoiled Monster has tested FIV+, but that shouldn’t deter you from adopting this awesome cat: FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) is transmitted either by mating or by deep, blood-drawing bite wounds from infected cats, which usually occur during fighting. Casual contact - such as sharing litter boxes, bowls or mutual grooming - has not been found to be a means of transmission. FIV is only transmissible from cat to cat and is not transmissible to humans, dogs or other species. And, happily, most FIV+ cats live long, normal lives!

Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy

We are a small, volunteer-run, foster-based private rescue. All of our cats have been fostered in private homes and will never go up for adoption straight off the street. We know their personalities and preferences, likes and dislikes, and any special needs they may have. This information helps us to ensure that each cat is matched with the perfect family during the adoption process. While our adoption process is more intricate than that of some other organizations, our goal is to make sure our cats are placed in the best possible lifelong homes. Some of our cats live in an adoption center at the Dover, Del. PetSmart, while others are in foster homes. We can set up meetings with individual cats following approval of an adoption application. Our adoption application and full list of adoption policies can be found here: https://www.purrfecthavencatrescue.org/adoption-form Our standard cat adoption fee is $90 for adult cats and $115 for kittens under the age of one year. For purebred and purebred/purebred-cross cats our fees range from $125-$200.
