Spock's Story

Spock is a special boy who would love to lounge in your home! This boy has a fairly severe case of CH (Cerebellar Hyperplasia), but doesn't let it slow him down one bit! He loves people and will give you some meows until you helpfully pick him up and put him on your lap (if you ignore him, he's happy to just take a nap). He's happy to sit by his people or snooze the day away on a comfy bed. He is very wobbly but can get around, we've seen him pull himself into different beds, and climb in the litterbox. He is great about using the litterbox, his preference is to give you a little meow, and when you put him into the litterbox he goes right away. However, he can even get in without someone putting him in. What a smart boy!

This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home.

Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition's Adoption Policy
Thanks for your interest in adopting! During these difficult times adoptions are moving very fast and we are working to respond as quickly as possible to get our cats into their forever homes. There is a chance that the cat you are inquiring about may already have an application, but we will do our best to find you the perfect fit. At this time we can only process adoptions to Brooklyn and nearby areas of Queens and Manhattan at this time. Applications from other boroughs and states will not be processed. All of our adoptions are happening as foster to adopt: you'll begin by fostering with the intention to adopt if all works out. As always, we DO NOT adopt out single kittens and any applications for a single kitten will be ignored. No need to follow up via email or phone -- we promise that we are working as fast as possible to get our cats home! More information on adoption available here: www.catcafebk.com/adoption
