Spirit is the sweetest soul, a quiet kitty who makes happy chirps when you start petting her. She is a cute little calico with cute little legs and a cute little tail. She is a bit shy at first but doesn’t take long to settle in, find her comfy spaces, and play with her toys. She would do best in a quiet home.<br/><br/>Spirit is 4 years old, and when she tested positive for FeLV, our hearts all broke a little. It is always harder for the positive kitties to find their special people, and Spirit so deserves a family to call her own. She was found in an area where it is common for cats to be dumped, so we know that she had been abandoned. She never lost her spirit, though, and that’s how she got her name.<br/><br/>Spirit is perfect as the only kitty in your home. She is also good with other cats and can live with others who also tested positive for FeLV. She is available as a long term foster in your home or adoption. ARSI provides support and treatment for all foster kitties. For adoption, there is no fee unless you wish to make a donation to help her and others like her.<br/><br/> FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, she is just like any other cat.
