Spike's Story

Spike has two modes in life: Energy Burst and Cuddle Puddle — and he’s excellent at both. This sweetie loves to romp, explore, and play, then crash into a snuggly heap when he’s done.

Spike is a social butterfly and lights up each time visitors come to see him, he would gladly take on the role of Official Greeter in your home. He would thrive in a home with another playful pet who can match his enthusiasm. He'd love to meet your resident cat or a cat-friendly dog could also be a great companion for this spirited little guy!

When we found Spike, he was living outside and not in the best health. Despite his hard times, he was instantly super sweet and let us shower him with love and medical care. He's in great health now, but has an ulcer in his eye from his early days. This affects his vision a bit, but does not affect his ability to have fun - he truly has no idea it's there! And we don't believe this will cause issues later in his life. It just adds a funky splash of color.

To see more photos and videos of Spike, follow him on his foster’s IG account: www.instagram.com/catsinthebelt/

If you think Spike might be the perfect addition to your family, email us at: adoption@acatsliferescue.org
