Spike's Story
Spike is a 6-month-old kitten with an outgoing, larger-than-life presence that makes him so much fun to be around! This friendly boy is active, playful, and full of kitten energy--and he's not shy about using his voice to let you know when he wants attention, food, or playtime! Spike is social, affectionate, and happiest when he's with other cats. Because he truly thrives on feline companionship, Spike must go to a home with another cat to bond, play, and cuddle with. He cannot be an only cat, as he does best when he has a feline friend to share his energy and affection. Kittens like Spike require a home ready for lots of interaction, daily play, and mental stimulation. His adopter should be prepared to provide plenty of enrichment and time to help him grow into a confident, well-adjusted adult cat. If there is a resident cat in the home, a slow and proper introduction will be needed, and that cat should be friendly, playful, and open to engaging with an energetic young kitten--senior or low-energy cats would not be a good fit for Spike's activity level. He would likely do well with a cat-friendly dog. Children in the home should be over the age of 5 and able to respect his boundaries by giving him space when he needs it. If you're looking for a fun-loving, vocal, and affectionate kitten who will flourish with a feline buddy, Spike may be the perfect fit for your family! Spike's adoption fee is $250.

*To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.*

Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats.
