Like the warmhearted mama from Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends, she is calm, kind, and quietly nurturing.

When her previous owner could no longer care for her and the other cats in the home, Spider came to us ready to begin her next chapter. Though she arrived with friends, she is currently enjoying her own space and handles it with graceful ease.

A Sunny Patch Sweetheart

Spider is easygoing, affectionate, and wonderfully relaxed. She enjoys free roam time, exploring at her own pace before settling into a cozy spot to lounge. She loves climbing to a perch, stretching out on the floor, or curling up in your lap.

Her favorite activity is being brushed. The moment a brush appears, she melts into happy purrs. She also enjoys being held, rubbing against your legs, offering gentle head butts, and staying close to her people.

Spider's Ideal Home

Spider would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can enjoy brushing sessions, sunny window views, and plenty of quiet companionship. She is the kind of cat who simply wants to share space, warmth, and affection.

A Valentine Still Searching

For Valentine's Day, Spider wore a festive red bow and looked every bit the leading lady. She is still waiting for her perfect match, someone to share sunbeams with and build a forever home full of love.

Come meet Spider and let her spin her web around your heart.

Caroline County Humane Society
407 W. Marlees Misfits's Adoption Policy
Potential adopters usually visit our cat cafe partner Mount Purrnon to determine which cat is a good fit. We require potential adopters to spend at least 30 minutes meeting the cat and chat with staff to make sure the cat is compatible for their home. They are then required to fill out an adoption application. If they have current pets, we require proof of current vaccines. If there are any concerns, we do a vet check. If the applicant rents, we require proof that they are allowed to have another cat.
