She underwent FHO surgery (femoral head ostectomy), a procedure that removes part of the hip joint to help relieve pain and allow better movement. Because of this, she now walks with a permanent limp and is a little stiff—but that doesn’t stop her! She still gets around just fine, jumping up and down the cat trees and spending her days doing her favorite thing: gazing out the window and watching the world go by.<br/><br/>Now, let’s talk about who Speed Bump is—and who she’s not.<br/><br/>Speed Bump is a sweet, quiet, and deeply gentle girl, but she’s been through a lot.
