She is approximately 2 years old.

This sweet gray, white, and peach colored cat loves being petted and hates being touched. She was brought into foster as an adult and has worked hard to go from fear to affection with humans. She has perfect housecat manners and will follow you from room to room to see what you’re up to. It will take her a while to warm up her forever home but she’s worth the wait! She is an ideal companion for any gentle cat, as her original foster brother was a big rambunctious boy who wrestled all day and she now is a gentle friend to the resident elderly cat.

She’s a frugal queen as her favorite treats are Temptations and not Churu, and her favorite toys are balls, wand toys, and short bouts with the laser pointer.

What Spats is looking for in a home:

- She’s new to indoor life with humans, so she needs a kind and patient guide to help her continue adjusting. Loud noises, fast movements, and strangers make her nervous.
- She’ll need extra time and TLC to build trust.
- She has lots of energy and will benefit from plenty of active play time.
- She feels at ease in a quiet and calm environment.
- She needs to live indoors only.
- She has a positive history with other cats and may like having a feline friend close to her age.
- She has no known history with dogs.
- She has no known history with children.

All Alley Cat Project’s cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Alley Cat Project adoption fees are:
$200 per cat or kitten
$350 for pair of cats or kittens
$50 for senior cat (over 8 years old)
Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts

Thank you for your interest in adopting Spats!
