Meet Sparty, a demure, pretty little tuxedo girl who was found in a northern cat colony and determined to be friendly. Don't worry about her name, she loves all, Wolverines, Buckeyes, Boilermakers, etc. She doesn't care who you are rooting for, she just wants you to root for her, like we are! Only thing green about her is her beautiful eyes!<br/><br/>Sparty is shy, but she is also curious and has a playful side, especially the wand toy. She can play with that toy forever! She is good with slow, gentle pets and will roll over at times for belly rubs. Yes, Second Chance has a number of shy cats, but that is our specialty. We know these kitties have experienced sadness and trauma, abandonment, etc. Some need to learn to trust and they all do, just at different times. Sparty is a darling and if you can be patient and give her time, love, and pets, she will be a devoted fan of yours for life! How better than to show your team spirit than to adopt our little Sparty?<br/><br/>Sparty could do well in a multi-cat home with a home on the quieter, routine side. She would also be fine as a single cat. Sparty would do best in a small room initially or ideally an apartment situation. Smaller spaces provide her with a feeling of safety. A single person or a couple who are home often to give her lots of attention would benefit Sparty. <br/><br/>Sparty has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Sparty has an approximate birthdate of 04-01-22. Her adoption fee is $95.<br/><br/>If you are interested in Sparty or any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4.<br/><br/>Please note - we can only adopt to those who live within a one hour drive of Grand Rapids.
