Sweet Sparta was found pinned between a garage, a downspout and brick. We expected to have to humanely euthanize her, but to our huge relief and surprise discovered she wasn't critically injured. We think she had an injury or infection when she was a kitten that led to her hind legs not developing properly. She can do anything any other kitty can do, she just walks a little funny and slides a bit when she isn't walking on carpet. Because of her mobility issues she is hesitant to befriend other kitties, but would be okay in a home with other cats that will leave her alone. Dogs and young kids will be scary for her because she can't get away. She also has a heart murmur and due to her mobility issues does struggle with using a litter box, however she is trained to use puppy pads. <br/><br/>She adores cuddling with her people and prefers to sleep in their favorite chairs if she can't sleep in their laps. She is vocal and quick to purr when she is happy. Little Sparta is a fighter and a love, and deserves a calm, caring home to call her own!<br/><br/>Included with the adoption is the kitty's spay, all applicable birth-to-one-year FVRCP, FeLeuk and first round of rabies vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. We offer a 2-week getting acquainted period and a 2-week wellness guarantee, so you can comfortably settle in with your new kitty!
