Sparky's Story

I am a feisty, grease-stained survivor who was rescued after I was found in a car engine. I'm not sure why I thought a car engine was a safe place to hide, but was thankfully found and brought to CCC. I was not happy when I first got here and made sure everyone knew it. Despite my initial hissing and spicy attitude, it was soon realized that I was actually terrified. <br/>When I was first put out on the adoption floor, I was terrified. I couldn't even pretend to be a tough guy, I was genuinely scared. Thankful some of the other cats snuggled with me and helped me feel safe. Now after some time, I'm still al little intimidated by people but I've finally decided to be brave and strong and try to find a family.<br/>I'm a social, playful boy who is highly toy-motivated and always up for a good play session. I have learned that not all cats like wrestling which I find strange. I would love to be in a home with other cats who do like to play. I'm really hoping someone will take a chance with me.

Cozy Cat Cottage Adoption Center's Adoption Policy

All adopters must be 21 years of age and fill out an adoption application. A valid drivers license or government ID is required. An interview with an adoption counselor is mandatory to discuss the information on your application as well as to make sure the cat(s) you are interested in are a good fit. Once approved, fees are to be paid via cash or check and you must have a carrier to transport you new family member(s) home.
