Sparky's Story

Sparky is about 3 years old, we were contacted by a local dog rescue when one of their volunteers found an "injured" cat..... Once he arrived at our vet's office their best guess based on his injuries was that he was caught in a car engine.... All the pads on his feet were burned as well as a large burn area on his side and stomach. After nearly 2 months his wounds are healed and he is ready to find his forever home. He is shy at first but warms up with some gentle love and patience Interested in meeting and/or adopting this handsome boy? Visit http://greatpets.org/cat-adoption-application for an online application Location: Foster Home Sparky's $175 adoption fee includes his vet exam while in our care, felv/fiv test, fecal, neuter surgery, microchip, flea treatment, and current vaccinations (age appropriate).

New Beginnings For Animals's Adoption Policy

Complete and submit the REQUIRED online adoption application first. If your application is approved you will be contacted soon to discuss your application and the pet you are interested in adopting in more detail. If the dog or cat seems like a good fit for your lifestyle and household, a meet-and-greet is arranged (including any other household pets and ALL family members). If there’s a love connection, we move on to the home check/official adoption with contract and medical records provided. Completing an application does not guarantee that you will be approved to adopt the animal applied for. If there is more than one application it is the policy of New Beginnings for Animals to match the applicant that is the best fit for the animal. We do not adopt on a first come, first serve basis. We strive to place each animal in a home that is best suited to their needs and the owner's expectations. We do not adopt outside of California.
