Spaghetti's Story

Meet Spaghetti along with his likely brother Meatball who with many other cats were in a home, allowed to breed uncontrollably, and when the elderly owner died, no one to care for the cats. These indoor cats were forced out of the home into the outside with no shelter, food, water, etc. A terribly sad situation. Trappers were able to trap these two and some others, with others whereabouts still unknown.

Spaghetti's tale, fortunately for him, has taken a positive turn with being trapped and then made ready for adoption. Spaghetti is very sweet. He has been through a lot, being abandoned, food insecurity, multiple moves. He is open to slow, gentle pets. He may not be the most outgoing kitty we have but he is certainly a calm, predictable, loving guy. He is the type of kitty who with some time, patience, and attention will come around and soon show his lovable tender self.

Spaghetti will need an adopter willing to give him a small space at first to adjust and then time and encouragement. He would likely do best in a quieter, routine home with a single adopter or couple. A family with older respectful kids could be a possibility. He could be part of a calm, friendly multi-cat home as he seems to not mind having roomies.

Spaghetti has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Spaghetti has an approximate birthdate of 01/20/2025. His adoption fee is $95.

If you are interested in Spaghetti or any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4.

Please note - we can only adopt to those who live within a one hour drive of Grand Rapids.

Thank you!
