Spade's Story

Hi, my name is Spade and I'm a young, male kitty looking for a very special home!
I used to hang out behind a police station in my neighborhood and the police officers would feed me ... but there were other kitties too, and even though I didn't like to fight all the other male kitties would try and fight with me.
I'm not a fighter so one day I was running away from a fight and I got hit by a car and ended up with a broken pelvis :(
This nice couple took me in so I could heal and I've been with them for several months and I have healed up nicely.
They wanted to find me a nice home so they went and got me all "fixed" up and made sure I had all my shots. Then they got me 'tested' to make sure I was okay, and they said I was "positive" on one of the tests, and it was FIV - I was so happy because they said because I was "positive" I would probably go to a real special home where my family will take really good care of me.
So right now while I'm waiting to meet my new special family, I pretty much spend my days being lazy as I love to 'cat nap' and I am also a snuggle bug!
I am excited to meet my special family .... I hope it's you!

Saving 9 Lives & More's Adoption Policy
We have adorable cats and kittens that are spayed/neutered and vaccinated, most are microchipped. We do not charge large adoption fees as we are only looking for good, safe, loving homes for the kitties that we have rescued. Please know the following: You must be 25 or older to adopt from us. Previous pet ownership is a requirement. Our kitties only go to homes that are smoke-free, must never be declawed, and must be kept indoors only. Also know that we do background checks, home checks, and vet checks - only the best for our kitties!!
