SOX

Sox: Ultra-Gentle, Kid-Loving Tuxie Looking for Her Indoor Haven!
Description:
Meet Sox! This gorgeous Tuxedo ("Tuxie") girl is the definition of a gentle soul. If you are looking for a calm, affectionate companion who is already proven to be amazing with children, Sox is your perfect match. RescueConnect is assisting with her placement to find her a wonderful indoor-only forever home in the Wilmington, NC area.
Sox is a little more reserved than her counterpart and appreciates a calm environment, but her capacity for love is massive. Her absolute favorite daily routine includes making biscuits on a cozy blanket on the couch and then climbing right up onto your chest to purr herself to sleep.
She is incredibly sweet, patient, and gentle. She currently lives with a 5-month-old baby and a 2-year-old toddler who handles her daily. Sox loves being picked up, held, and showered with affection. She also gets along wonderfully with dogs and other cats!
Special Needs Note:
Sox is FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Please don't let this label scare you! FIV+ cats can live long, completely normal, healthy lives. The virus is only spread to other cats through deep, severe puncture wounds (not through sharing water bowls, grooming, or playing). Sox can safely live with other non-FIV cats and dogs. RescueConnect is happy to answer any questions you have about FIV!
Sox is currently transitioning to an indoor-only lifestyle, and RescueConnect will provide support and guidance to her adopter for litter box training.
Compatibility:
• Cats: Yes!
• Dogs: Yes!
• Kids: Yes (Great with babies and toddlers!)
