Fill the Void Animal Rescue: Adoption Process 1. Application: Prospective adopters begin by filling out an adoption application. This form gathers information about their household, experience with pets, and preferences for a new pet. 2. Interview: After reviewing the application, we schedule an interview to discuss the adopter's lifestyle, expectations, and the specific needs of the pets they are interested in. This conversation helps ensure a good fit. 3. Meet and Greet: Approved applicants are invited to meet our pets. This meeting allows both the adopters and the animals to interact, helping to find the right match. 4. Home Visit: We may conduct a home visit to ensure a safe and suitable environment for the new pet. This step helps confirm that the home is prepared for a new family member. 5. Adoption Contract: If a match is made, the adopter signs an adoption agreement, which outlines the responsibilities of pet ownership and the commitment to providing lifelong care for the new pet. 6. Adoption Fee: An adoption fee is collected to help cover the costs of veterinary care, spaying/neutering, vaccinations, and other expenses incurred in preparing the pet for adoption. 7. Follow-Up: After the adoption, we follow up with the adopter to ensure the pet is settling in well and to offer support and resources. This helps ensure a smooth transition and a successful adoption. Our goal is to provide a smooth and supportive adoption experience, ensuring that every pet finds a loving and permanent home where they can thrive.
