SOPHIE's Story
AGE: Young - 10 to 12 months

DESCRIPTION: DSH Brown Tabby and White

LOCATION: Foster Home

MY STORY:
This summer, Paisley started visiting a home to find food. The home owner noticed she was very friendly but extremely thin. After several weeks of the kitty appearing and still not putting on weight, the woman knew this kitty didn’t have a home and needed help.

When Paisley came to our rescue she was extremely thin. We discovered over time that she must be fed in small amounts and with a slow feeder otherwise she will eat everything really quickly and then throw it up. Once we figured that out, she started putting on weight.

Now she is a beautiful tabby and white with a little black heart nose. Her fur is so soft and she is a very nice, healthy weight.

She does not care for other kitties. We have tried to introduce her to other kitties several times and she is not interested and lets you know if her disapproval with hisses and growls. Although she could probably coexist with a cat or two that leave her alone, we think she would be happiest as the only kitty.

She has lived with small dogs and seems to ignore them. She would be great with kids. She is a very sweet kitty.

MORE DETAILS:
Inside-only home and must keep claws. The adoption fee for this kitty is $100. Adopt a pair of kitties for $150. Each cat and kitten has been: altered (spayed/neutered), vaccinated (age-appropriate) - rabies and distemper combo, microchipped, tested for FeLV (negative unless previously noted), and treated for fleas, ear mites, and worms.

We ask that interested parties fill out a cat adoption questionnaire only if you are seriously considering adopting this sweet kitty. You can get the application by going to our website at "http://www.panorapets.com/adopt"
and clicking on the "Cat Adoption Questionnaire" button at the top of the page. Once you have submitted the questionnaire, an adoption coordinator will contact you usually within 24 hours. Please be patient and thank you for your interest in this kitty.

P.E.T.S. supports the "Paws Need Claws" Campaign. Cats are rather attached to their claws; please do not de-claw your cats.
