Meet Sophie!<br/>Sophie came into our shelter from a medical situation that caused Sophie to need a new home, we found out she has cerebellar hypoplasia also known as wobbly syndrome soon after she came into our hands.<br/>Does this make her a bad cat? Absolutely not! Sophie is one of the sweetest cats you will ever meet, sure walking can be a little bit difficult due to her neurological condition however, she pushes through everyday and makes her way around to use the bathroom, eat, and sleep. The only thing to keep her away from is very high places, Sophie wouldn’t be very safe on a tall cat tree due to her wobbly syndrome. Other than that Sophie lives life like every other cat, just with some special appliances for example,<br/><br/>- A litter box that is easier to get in and out of. Designed for disabled & or senior kitties!<br/><br/>- Tilted/Stationary food and water bowls!<br/><br/>- And a mat/slip mat to put with the litter box and food/water to assist against her slipping!<br/><br/>These are the only things we really recommend for this special girl, other than that she is a normal kitty who just wobbles a little bit around your home!<br/> <br/>Sophie has been exposed to dogs and cats in a home setting, she doesn’t mind the dogs however does not favor having other cats around.<br/><br/>Sophie’s adoption will be $100, this covers the adoption, spay/neuter, vaccinations, and micro chip! <br/><br/>Sooo, if you think your the purrrfect home for this wobbly lady, contact the Blackstone Valley Animal Control at 508-883-BVAC (2822) or email aco@blackstonepolice.org.
