Sophie

Sophie is a gentle soul! She immediately starts to purr when picked up or when she sits on my lap for a petting session. The purr motor never stops. She is a bit shy when first introduced to a new environment. She was actually adopted by a nice couple, but it turned out that their resident male cat was terribly aggressive with Sophie, and they decided he might harm her. So she returned to our foster home. When our cats or dogs enter her room she will give them an inquisitive sniff. She would do well in a quiet home with another friendly cat or dog, or the solo princess of her domain. Chasing a feather wand or laser light is her favorite at play time. Her fur is silky soft and she takes pride in her good looks. She is great with her litter box, and enjoys her cat trees for scratching and nestling into the top bunk.
