Soot's Story
Meet, Soot! <br/>Soot is a very sweet, and laid back lap cat who is looking for a home willing to give her a great "retirement". She was adopted from a southern IL animal shelter almost 11 years ago, and unfortunately her owner passed away. Family members could not care for Soot so she arrived here at the shelter. Soot reportedly has a history of intermittent GI concerns -- vomiting and loose stool -- but she has not had any episodes since arriving here and uses the litterbox well at our facility. She has done well on Prednisone for flare ups in the past (veterinarians are guessing IBD), so she is looking for an owner who would be able/willing to continue that for her if needed in the future. Otherwise, she is an easy keeper and low maintenance, and just wants a relaxed household to live out the rest of her days as a spoiled queen. Her adoption fee is $100 and she is spayed, front declawed, microchipped, vaccinated (3 year rabies included) and FELV/FIV negative. Stop by the shelter to meet her, or call/email with questions: 630-553-9256 or animalcontrol@kendallcountyil.gov
