Soot and her sister Sprite were feral kittens being fed by a kind soul. When the winter weather kicked into full force, they were brought to the shelter to get them out of the cold. These babies are still quite nervous around humans but tolerate handling and petting. They will relax once picked up and it is expected that they will thrive in a home setting if given enough time to adjust. Soot is the more antitsocial sister but still allows for attention and does not bite or strike. Soot and Sprite may be adopted together or separately.
