Sonya - (Moderate CH) Persian Stoughton, WI

Sonya, mayor of Whoville, is a silver Persian with moderate to severe Cerebellar Hypoplasia (ch). She came all the way from the streets of Kuwait to find a better life in the US. Sonya is very friendly and loves to be pet and held. CH means that the part of her brain that controls fine motor functions was never fully developed. She knows what she wants and needs to do, but her brain limits the output. CH makes Sonya very wobbly when she walks, and it’s common for her to slip or fall. But don’t be alarmed, she is determined and every day she gets stronger. Sonya is great with other cats, she’ll just need a few days to adjust to them. She also loves to play!

Sonya knows how to use a litter box almost perfectly even with her wobbles. In her forever home, it may take a few days for her to fully understand and operate her new litter box. An adopter that can understand if she doesn’t quite make it to the litter box while adjusting the first week or so is especially appreciated

Sonya is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested FIV/Felv negative. Est. DOB November 2021.
