Sonia & Cookie

SONIA & COOKIE came to us when their family had to leave the country to care for an ailing relative. They are very very shy. Previously feral cats that the family had befriended and gave them a safe place to live in their garage. They drove two hours to place them with us because nobody else would take them. We are hoping to find that special family that will let cats be cats and get to know them on Sonia & Cookie’s own terms. The previous family was able to pick them up. Cookie has gotten to the point where she doesn’t run away and hide in our presence but Sonia chooses to come out when we aren’t there. We would like them to be able to continue to live an indoor cushy life but we are also open to safe barn homes where they can be properly acclimated and cared for, not just left to fend for themselves. Would like them to go together as a bonded pair as Cookie can be Sonia’s security blanket. Both have been spayed, vaccinated and tested FIV/Leukemia negative. Adoption $100 for the pair.
