Sonata's Story

This little girl was trapped from a colony for TNR but her trapper saw that this was no feral kitty. Sonata warmed up quickly and was purring and allowing her foster mom to pick her up and hold her. She does well with some of the cats in her foster home but she can get a little spicy with others. She would do best in a home with only a few cats. The Cats' Cradle's Adoption Policy
All our cats receive their distemper and rabies vaccines and are spayed/neutered before being put up for adoption, The current adoption fee is $140 for cats under 5 years old and younger $50 for cats older than 5. You must fill out an adoption application and agreement You can find it here: https://www.thecatscradlenc.org/adoption-application We require that our cats go to indoor only homes and that the adopter agrees not to ever declaw the cat. We request that our cats be returned to us if for any reason you can no longer care for or keep the cat.

Mission Statement The Cats’ Cradle is a no-kill nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing, sheltering and finding homes for homeless cats and kittens in Alexander, Burke, Caldwell and Catawba Counties. We also provide safe sanctuary for cats with special needs and practice TNR for community cats.
