Bonded pairs will not be split up. <br/>This 5-month-old beauty is now accepting applications for her forever home. ?<br/><br/>Sonata didn’t have the easiest start to life—she was cruelly abandoned in a closed carrier near the beach in Seagate, Brooklyn. Her cries for help were so loud and desperate that one of our volunteers heard her from a block away and rushed to save her. ?<br/><br/>At first, Sonata was so traumatized she wouldn’t even leave the safety of a blanket. Her foster family patiently hand-fed her, showing her that she was safe and loved. Slowly but surely, she’s begun to trust again.<br/><br/>Sonata is a sweet little munchkin who loves to play with the humans and her feline friends. She is now UTD on shots, FIV/FeLV negative, spayed, microchipped and ready to meet her family!

Strays Hope for Life's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process is quick and easy and it includes several steps. 1. Adoption application (you can find on our website www.strayshopeforliferescue.org) 2. Meet and greet with the kittens/cats virtually or in person (arranged as soon as your application is processed) 3. Home check to ensure the kittens/cats are going to a safe environment 4. Adoption fee for the fully vetted kitten under 8 month old is $200 or $350 for a pair. The adoption fee for a cat over 8 months old is $175. The adoption fee for the adults and the seniors varies. 5. Transport is available anywhere in NYC/NJ/LI areas.
