Solomon's Story
This polydactyl young man is a 9 month old brown tabby! Solomon was surrendered into our possession from a home that was part of an abuse case. This caused Solomon to be very uncomfortable with most human interaction.

Solomon has come such a long way from where he started, once cowering in his cage. To now being at the front, with his tail high, greeting everyone who comes in. Solomon loves to be pet especially when he has gotten to know your face! We have had so many people look at Solomon but then they look away when they hear about how he feels being held, due to Solomons past he feels uncomfortable being off the ground and in someone's arms. Solomon is as sweet as can be, and doesn't attempt to hurt you, he just tries to get away, especially with new people. One of our part-timers at the shelter sits with him and holds him with some effort and ease, this is because Solomon has grown accustomed to the faces at the shelter.
This just goes to show that our gentle but shy boy, Solomon, has exponential potential to be the friendliest and cuddliest cat, when given some patience and gentle love!

Solomon's adoption will be $250.00, this covers the adoption, neuter, vaccinations, and micro chip!

If you think you're the purrrfect home for this gentle boy to grow into and trust, contact the Blackstone Valley Animal Control at 508-883-BVAC (2822) or email aco@blackstonepolice.org. Applications can be done in advance or at the time of your meet and greet.
