After a devastating fire destroyed the camp, these tiny survivors were rescued at just 4 weeks old, still blue-eyed and learning whether humans could be trusted.<br/><br/>Socrates didn’t hesitate long. He walked right up and asked, “So… what’s next?”<br/><br/>Personality: Bold, Brave, and Born to Lead<br/>Socrates is the clear leader of the group. He is fearless, confident, and always the first to explore something new. New room? First in. New toy? Already claimed. New human? Already greeting you.<br/><br/>While the other kittens eventually collapse into a cuddle puddle after hours of play, Socrates keeps going — exploring, investigating, learning. He’s the most independent thinker of the bunch, happily entertaining himself when needed, yet always choosing to come back for affection.<br/><br/>The Curious Companion<br/>Socrates needs to know what you’re doing at all times. Cooking? He’s supervising. Cleaning? He’s helping. Sitting down? He’s already there.<br/><br/>He is mesmerized by anything new and thrives on enrichment — toys, food puzzles, kitten TV, and interactive play. He’s endlessly happy, tail up, eyes bright, and always ready for the next adventure.<br/><br/>Socrates adores his baby brother Plato and would love to be adopted with him. He’s protective, playful, and endlessly patient — the best big brother. That said, Socrates truly loves everyone and would also do beautifully in a home with another playful kitten who can match his energy and curiosity.<br/><br/>He’s social, affectionate, and confident in new environments — a kitten who makes himself at home wherever he goes.<br/><br/>Despite his independence and bravery, Socrates is deeply affectionate. He seeks attention, loves being involved, and wants to be part of every moment. He’s the kind of kitten who makes you laugh, follows you everywhere, and fills your home with joy.<br/><br/>Because of Socrates is a kitten he must be adopted together with one of his siblings, or into a home with another young and/or playful cat.
