Socks - ADOPTION PENDING!

Meet Socks, a sweet black tuxedo kitty with beautiful white whiskers and white tipped feet, along with his brother, Freckles made their way to Second Chance for adoption. Freckles is being adopted, now it's sweet Socks turn.<br/><br/>Socks is a bit shy, but his confidence has grown as he is venturing out more into the room seeking pets. He likes slow, gentle pets and belly rubs. Socks is calm, laid back and very charming when you spend time with him. He has become a very loving boy and we believe that even more of his wonderful personality and his desire to cuddle will come forward once in a home of his own. A Second Chance volunteer has been able to spend time with her arms around Socks where he falls asleep. Socks is also the shy kitty whisperer of the room. Oftentimes, the new shyer cats will cozy up to Socks finding comfort and security with him like Catapult.<br/><br/>Socks would be great for a quieter, routine home, likely with a single adopter or couple, or a family with older respectful kids. Everyone needs Socks to provide warmth and comfort just like our guy! Our Socks appreciates other calm, laid back kitties so could easily live in a calm multi-cat home or he be adopted with his new friend, Catapult.<br/><br/>Socks has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Socks has an approximate birthdate of 08/19/2023. Socks adoption fee is $95. <br/><br/>If you are interested in any Socks or any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4.<br/><br/>Please note - we can only adopt to those who live within a one hour drive of Grand Rapids.
