Meet Socks, a sweet black tuxedo kitty with beautiful white whiskers and white tipped feet, along with his brother, Freckles have made their way to Second Chance for adoption. <br/><br/>Socks is a bit shy, but his confidence is growing as he is venturing out more into the room seeking pets. He likes slow, gentle pets and belly rubs. Socks is calm, laid back and is very charming when you spend time with him. He has become a very loving boy and we believe that even more of his wonderful personality will come forward once in a home of his own.<br/><br/>Socks would be great for a quieter, routine home, likely with a single adopter or couple, or a family with older respectful kids. Everyone needs Socks to provide warmth and comfort just like our guys Socks! While Socks and Freckles are not bonded they would make a great twosome for an adopter looking for twice the love and affection!<br/><br/>Socks has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Socks has an approximate birthdate of 08/19/2023. Socks adoption fee is $95. <br/><br/>If you are interested in any Socks or any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4.<br/><br/>Please note - we can only adopt to those who live within a one hour drive of Grand Rapids.
