Despite being found as a stray, he has a loving personality and adores attention, especially when being brushed. Snowdrift is diabetic and FIV+ but can live a long, happy life with proper care. He can coexist well with other cats but swats at dogs.<br/><br/>Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive cats can live normal lives both in quality and duration. They do take special care in terms of monitoring them for signs of infection. FIV can be passed from cat to cat via deep bite wounds, but not from casual contact so positive cats can live with negative cats without the fear of spreading FIV as long as they get along and are spayed/neutered. Please fill out our online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html The cage-free adoption center is open to the public for regular hours, no appointment needed. Visiting time will be limited if there are people waiting to come in. Your safety and the safety of our volunteers is important to us.
