Snow Day

Hi, my name is Snow Day. I am a female Calico cat. My estimated age when I was rescued was 1 year old. However, after a close examination of my mouth, it was determined that I am older than that. I am going to have most of my teeth removed, because the roots are decaying. I am still eating dry and wet food well, and I'm waiting patiently for Purring Hearts to raise the funds to make it happen. I was a busy mom, who had two litters of kittens to raise. Purring Hearts has given me a safe place to relax, and make every day a snow day. I am a bit reserved initially, and warm up slowly to new surroundings. I love being petted on the head! I enjoy sitting in cat tunnels and having a clean litter box. I am quite fascinated with ball track toys and cat trees. I am a happy girl when I see that food is coming. I prefer not to be picked up. I MUST be adopted with my daughter, Shake Your Flakes. She has been by my side her whole life. She is the trailblazer when we are in a new place, and I follow when I see the way is safe. We still snuggle, play, and window watch together. I am shy, but not mean towards, other cats and dogs. I would do best with calm pets after a slow introduction. I’m not a fan of kittens, other than my own. I would do best going to a quiet, calm home with older (12+) or no kids. I am spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, tested for FIV/FeLV (negative/negative), and have my microchip.
