Meet Snickers — A Sweet, Spirited Kitten Ready for Her Perfect Match! Snickers is a 4.5-month-old female kitten with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life. This high-energy, inquisitive girl had a rough start—she was found abandoned and brought to Laurel Cats’ neonatal unit, where she thrived but needed extra help learning her social skills. Snickers is a bit of a wild child due to growing up as a single kitten. When she gets excited during playtime, she may play-bite or nibble, and she’s still learning how to channel all that kitten energy. She was briefly adopted but sadly returned for needing more socialization. The good news? Snickers has blossomed beautifully in her foster home! She loves playing with her foster sister and the older resident cats, and they’ve helped her understand boundaries, manners, and how to kitten properly. We strongly recommend Snickers be adopted with another kitten her age or a slightly older kitten—she truly thrives when she has a playmate to romp, wrestle, and grow with. Her ideal home will have: -Another young cat or kitten -Older children/teens who understand kitten behavior -Someone patient and willing to continue her socialization -Plenty of time for play and interaction Snickers is funny, energetic, curious, and full of love—she just needs the right environment to help her shine. Laurel Cats's Adoption Policy

Since Laurel Cats is primarily a spay and neuter group rather than a rescue with a shelter, the cats that we have for adoption are living at the homes of our volunteers. Please contact us and we will gladly put you in touch with the volunteers caring for these cats. Finding volunteer foster space is challenging, and once a cat or kitten is ready for adoption we are naturally keen to free up the space in order to help more cats and kittens in need. We therefore ask that you only apply to adopt one of our cats or kittens if you are in a position to take them immediately, subject to a home check.
