Snickers and Heath - ssb's Story

Hi! My name is Snickers! I want to introduce you to me and my big brother, Heath. I'm doing the introduction because Heath is shy. We are 6 month old bonded brothers looking for our forever home. Our foster mom says that we are shy but sweet when you give us some time to get comfortable. I'm more outgoing than Heath. I like to play, love to hunt bugs (which I'm very good at) and try to get attention and pets by flopping on feet when you are walking. Foster mom says I wind myself around her feet like I'm the beneficiary of her life insurance. It's not my fault that she isn't surefooted enough to handle it. My big brother Heath is more shy and reserved than I am. You can't really blame him though. We've been through a lot in our short lives. We were born in a box on someone's front porch. We spent about the first month in that box with our mom and siblings until SPOT got us and found out we were very sick. We spent the next few months in a room by ourselves while we recovered. We are all better now!! We've had a month with the foster mama we have now. She's introduced us to so many new things. We get full roam of the house. Which is really great because we get the zoomies and chase each other around. Heath really likes to play with those fishing pole toys, but they kind of scare me. I much prefer plastic spring toys. We also love to watch all the wildlife outside the windows. We saw a deer for the first time recently. I played it real cool, but Heath was really interested in meeting the deer. Foster mama says that she knows we would make really good companions for someone with a quiet home. You would have to be patient with us, especially Heath, and give us time to settle in. But then you would get to see our funny, silly, playful personalities come out.

The adoption fee for kittens is $175. This includes neuter, microchip, age appropriate vaccines, blood testing and flea/parasite treatment. There is a $25 discount when adopting a pair of kitties.

If you are interesting in a meet & greet, please fill out the application for cat adoption at www.savingpetsoneatatime.org and you will be contacted by the kitties' foster parent. Thank you for your interest in adopting a pet from S.P.O.T.
