Smudge is a quiet, shy boy that has grown to love affection & all over body rubs. He even has a cute little chirp to let you know he’d like your attention. Smudge has recently learned that he can get one-on-one attention if he climbs onto his foster mom’s lap. Born in an outdoor cat colony, Smudge is learning that humans aren’t that scary & that they can be trusted to give him the attention & love he desires. With lots of patience, Smudge can continue growing into the sweet companion he wants to be.

Whiskers Rescue AR's Adoption Policy

We have an application and interview the candidates. We want our cats to go to a stable home and be both loved and safe. We are willing to work with our adopters to help set them up for success with things such as an explanation of medical needs, teaching skills needed for owning a cat, providing advice on introducing a new cat to a multi-cat home, and others. We look for someone who will give our cats a second chance and in turn we hope our cats will change their life.

Whiskers Rescue AR serves all felines in Northwest Arkansas who need a second chance, a helping hand, and a warm heart, by finding permanent homes for those who have been found, abandoned, rescued, and surrendered. We believe that no matter the circumstance all cats deserve to be healthy, safe, happy, and loved.
