Otherwise, he wants to be near his person, whether that is sitting on the couch or bed or under a chair. He is not a climber or jumper. He has good house manners. He is quiet most of the time except for an occasional soft meow to say hello.<br/><br/>Smudge has spent his life with his human companion of several years, who he recently lost.
