Smores's Story

✨🐾 Meet S’Mores – Our Sweet Little Survivor 🐾✨

Miss S’Mores came to us as a stray in distress, suffering complications from a miscarriage that required an emergency spay. Thanks to quick veterinary care and a compassionate foster volunteer, she was given the chance to heal — and to show us who she truly is.

Here’s what we’ve learned about this special girl:

💛 Personality:
S’Mores is a quiet, gentle soul with the sweetest little meow that will absolutely melt your heart. She’s delightfully vocal — especially when requesting breakfast ASAP! Over time, she blossomed from “don’t look at me, I will run away” to a much more approachable, affectionate kitty who enjoys head rubs and gentle pets.

She loves being petted (approach from the side rather than over her head), but she’s not quite a cuddler yet and prefers to keep all four paws on the ground — no picking up, please. With patience and love, she continues to grow more confident every day.

🍽️ Dining Preferences:
This girl has taste! She enjoys wet food — but not the same flavour twice in a row. She’s been living the spoiled life with a rotating menu. Dry food is her snack, and when it comes to tube treats…
Delectables only, thank you very much.

🌿 Fun & Favorites:
• Catnip enthusiast
• Plays hard with her favourite cat stuffy (it’s adorable)
• LOVES her towels — one on the bed, one in the kitchen — perfect for lounging and hilarious sliding zoomies
• Scratching post… or occasionally furniture (a gentle “no” works — she walks away like, “wasn’t me!”)

🐱 With Others:
S’Mores is very loving with other cats and would truly thrive in a home with feline companions. She’s a little fearful of dogs and shy with strangers, so a calmer home that can give her time to settle in would be ideal.

🎂 About 3 years old
🏡 Now at the shelter and ready for her forever home

S’Mores has already survived so much. What she needs now is a patient, loving family — ideally with other kitties — who will let her continue building confidence at her own pace. In return, you’ll get soft meows, sweet head rubs, and the joy of watching a shy girl truly bloom.

If you think S’Mores might be your perfect match, come meet her. She’s ready for her happily ever after. 💕🐾
