S'mores's Story
S’mores is a gorgeous long-haired spayed female, just shy of 5 years young, and approximately 14 lbs. She was adopted as a kitten and had lived her entire life with her one human.
She is now being evaluated in foster. Upon arrival there, she chose her new human and did not appear to want to share her new human (or territory) with others. S’mores has really started to come out of her shell. She’s starting to seek affection from other household members, enjoys being petted and loves chasing her whip toys and throwing her toy mice around. She can often be heard playing with her turbo scratcher when left alone.
The ideal home for S’mores would be one with no small children and an owner or owners who are willing to give her some time to show her true affectionate and playful personality.
Now that she realizes that two (or more) is not necessarily a crowd, we think she'll make the adjustment to a new home fairly quickly. She has not yet been evaluated for interaction with other animals. But this foster home has both cats and dogs. So transition to an adopter’s home with other furry pets will hopefully be a good option. S’mores is ready to get a place of her own and meet some new people ! Please consider giving her a forever family.

Thank you very much for your inquiry to adopt from us. You expressed interest in S'mores.
If you still want to adopt S'mores, you can complete a non-commitment application on our website:
www.baystateanimals.org

In the application, please list in the section that asks what cat you are interested in, that you are interested in S'mores, and list any specifics you might be looking for (such as gender or color). If S'mores is not available we have many other sweet, fun kittens and cats available to consider.

$175 adoption fee includes; spay or neuter, age appropriate vaccines, feline leukemia test, FIV test if over 6 months of age, microchip, flea treatment and roundworm treatment as needed, additional treatments as deemed necessary.

Thank you again and if you do not hear from one of our volunteers in a reasonable amount of time please do not hesitate to reach back out to us!
