S'more's Story

As of 1/3/26 I am at The Cat House in Roselle come meet me at my new location! https://www.thecathouselounge.com/. Apply in advance to get preapproved!

To make the perfect S'more, you have to be ready for a bit of heat. S'more is a sweet girl who has a white underside with melting black across her top and sides, resembling the cookie she is aptly named for.

While first shy around people she loves hanging around other cats, and becomes quite the attention hog when she settles in! Her confidence grows more and more each day (with the unwavering support of her sister Samoa) and has recently developed an enjoyment for butt scratches! She loves to find the shadiest corner with the most blankets to watch the world go by or snuggle underneath her sister for a long fuzzy nap. S'more has only recently discovered how fun toys can be! Anything from her corn made of wool to the automatic butterfly, to the puzzle feeder she solves so quickly. She certainly loves figuring out the best way to make the toys move and will drag them with her teeth and throw them around.

S'more is friendliest when food is being handed out! She will chirp and headbutt and enjoy all the pets as you pour her food. She'll even try to stand on her hind legs to reach the food held in your hands! While not a lap cat she is as sweet as can be, a constant companion always keeping an eye on things from a corner or shelf in the room.

S'more would do well in a quiet home with respectful older children and her sister Samoa (as they are a bonded pair) who can continue to show her how awesome humans can be. She politely asks her furever family to be patient, as it takes her quite awhile to warm up, much like a roasting marshmallow. If you are looking for absolute sweetness then S'more is the cat for you!

WE DO NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL LOCATION AS WE ARE A FOSTER-BASED ORGANIZATION. PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO BE IMMEDIATELY CONNECTED TO A SCREENER.

Apply at online application (catsfff.org/adopt)

View all of our adoptable cats here (catsfff.org/cats)

Our adoption fees are listed here (catsfff.org/adoption-fees)

Forever Fortunate Felines's Adoption Policy
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster-based, we really understand our cat's personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here: https://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier that opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to accept PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee. Adoption Fees: http://foreverfortunatefelines.org/adoption-fees/ We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy! Everything from the application to payment, to the contract is online. Additionally, all of the cat's records will be placed in your free Pet lovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized. With Warm Regards, Michela Onesti President Of Forever Fortunate Felines cats@foreverfortunatefelines.org (844) CATSFFF or (844) 228-7333
