Smoky

Smokey is a handsome approximately 9 month to 1 year old boy with a big heart and an incredible story to tell. After starting life on the streets, Smokey is ready for a new chapter — one filled with cozy beds, full food bowls, feline friends, and, most importantly, a family of his very own.

Smokey was living on the streets and had made himself a home underneath the deck of a Feline Friends Chicago adopter. A kind neighbor noticed him and helped rescue him, giving Smokey the chance to leave life on the streets behind and discover the comforts of an indoor home.

Thanks to the compassion of a former Feline Friends Chicago adopter and his neighbor, Smokey is now safe and settling into his foster home. And he has adapted to indoor life remarkably quickly! He’s enjoying his new surroundings and is already making friends with the other cats in the house. He is full of playful energy and thinks the laser pointer is the best invention ever.

Smokey has received a full veterinary workup and has a clean bill of health, so this sweet young guy is ready to find his forever family.

Smokey would love to find a home with another young cat that he can bond with. While Smokey is still discovering all the good things that come with indoor life, his personality is already beginning to shine. He’s looking for a loving forever home that will give him the patience, security, and affection he deserves.

Could you be the family that gives Smokey his happily ever after?

If you live in Chicago and are interested in learning more about Smokey, please contact Toni McNaughton at tonimcn@rcn.com and Lisa Ward at catladychicago@yahoo.com.
