Smoky's Story

This is Smoky! She is curious like kittens are, but is most content snuggled up on your lap for all-day naptime. Smoky is a solid-gray beauty with hazel eyes. She is soft, sweet, cuddly, and easy to handle. Smoky came to us with her sister (Rocky) from a local colony. We found Smoky protecting her sister in an outdoor cat house. She is a leader and has all the big sister energy. <br/><br/>Smoky's ideal home will have an animal sibling of some sort, and she would also do well with a kid to be her new best friend.

Field's Feline Rescue's Adoption Policy

First, a potential adopter makes contact with us and expresses interest. Second, we informally ask them questions via message, email, or phone call to ensure that they are genuinely interested, able, and trustworthy. Third, we send them an adoption application. Fourth, once they have submitted the application, we invite them for a visit. We either conduct these visits on site or at the adopter’s home depending on the circumstances. Fifth, if the visit goes well, and we are all in agreement that this is the best fit for the cat/kitten, we ask the adopters to sign the adoption contract.
