This handsome young boy is full of curiosity, energy, and kitten fun. Whether he’s chasing toys, batting at anything that moves, or exploring his surroundings, Smokey approaches life with enthusiasm and confidence.<br/><br/>While Smokey can be a little shy around new people at first, he just needs a bit of patience. If you sit quietly on the floor and give him a moment to feel safe, his curiosity usually wins—and before long he’ll be coming over to say hello. Once he trusts you, Smokey absolutely loves attention from his humans and enjoys being part of the action.<br/><br/>Smokey has excellent litter box manners and would thrive as the only pet in a home where he can have his humans—and their laps—all to himself. He prefers a calm environment and would likely be happiest in a home without dogs and with adults or older, respectful children.<br/><br/>This playful, fluffy boy is looking for a patient adopter who will give him the time he needs to blossom into the affectionate companion he’s meant to be. We accept online/electronic credit or debit card pre-payments for adoptions (no cash).<br/><br/>NOTE: Please do not ask us to HOLD a cat/kitten for you. Our space is very limited as we don't have a facility. <br/><br/>Laurel Cats does not have a shelter or storefront. Our kittens and cats are placed in the homes of loving volunteer fosters until they are adopted. This means our cats are accustomed to being handled and loved. Please ask questions if you're interested in any of our cats
